BioI was born on a small farm in the middle of the ocean. Our house and most of the surrounding land had been swept out to sea dearing the floods of '79. Luckily, the pond remaind untainted by salt water. Dad spent his days in the vegetable garden, while my brothers took turns driving the dolphins who plowed the seaweed fields.
I left home to attend Wellesley College, and many tears were shed when I said fairwell to Reginald, my beloved pet shark (I'd trained him to be a vegetarian. Though that didn't stop him from sampling Jenny's pet parrot fish. Oh well.)
I stayed away from majoring in marine biology, as I have no desire to return to and run the farm, though my family has been looking into either anchoring or harnessing gull power to work on a skyfarm (seeding clouds and the like.)
